The 30-second version
Short on time? Here's the summary.
The problem
On compliance, data migration or digitalisation projects, business and technology teams often speak different languages — and projects drift off course.
My approach
Understand before acting, specify clearly, run the backlog, secure delivery — in Agile or in a classic waterfall setup.
What you get
Actionable specifications, a prioritised backlog, secured GDPR compliance — delivered by a single point of contact, from scoping to acceptance testing.
Who it's for
CIOs, project leads and IT consultancies at large organisations in banking, insurance, the public sector and tax administration.

Why this line of work
15 years between software development and Business Analysis
I hold a Master's degree in Computer Science and started my career in web development before moving into Business Analysis — a shift that felt natural, as the role captivated me from my very first projects.
Since then, I've supported projects across a range of sectors: the public sector (healthcare, finance — OPCO, DGFIP), insurance and banking, notably on data archiving and GDPR compliance. My technical background (Java, SQL) lets me speak the developers' language with real credibility — including reverse-engineering documentation: reading code to extract undocumented business rules, as I did at BNP Paribas and DGFIP.
What defines me: I observe before I act — I take the time to understand a context before taking a position. Once the course is set, I move forward with determination, without looking back. PMP certified, equally comfortable in Agile and waterfall, I see things through to the end.
I'm currently training in AI applied to my profession — requirements gathering, writing specifications, decision support — with the ambition of growing into a Product Owner or Project Manager role. I'm also exploring, in parallel, AI-agent automation for small and medium businesses.

The problem
Two ways to run a project. Two outcomes.
Without a dedicated Business Analyst
- 1Needs expressed informally
- 2Incomplete or ambiguous specifications
- 3Back-and-forth, business/IT misunderstandings
- 4Delays, scope creep, disappointing delivery
With a dedicated Business Analyst
- 1Structured requirements gathering (business/IT workshops)
- 2Clear, actionable specifications (SFD/STD)
- 3Prioritised backlog, organised acceptance testing
- 4Delivery that matches what was expected

How it works
My approach, in 4 steps
I take the time to understand a context, a need or a team before taking a position — which leads to sound, well-informed decisions. Once the course is set, I move forward with determination, without looking back.
- 01Scoping
Understand
Requirements gathering and analysis, facilitating collaborative business/IT workshops, scope definition.
- 02Design
Specify
Writing functional (SFD) and technical (STD) specifications, UML/Merise modelling.
- 03Execution
Run
Backlog management, User Stories, Agile facilitation (Scrum, Kanban) or waterfall, depending on context.
- 04Delivery
Secure
Acceptance test strategy, quality tracking, change management through to delivery.
Fig. 2 — Each step builds on the previous one. Actual duration varies with the scope and context of the project.
Honesty first
Is now the right time for you?
It's the right time if…
- ✓You're starting a compliance, data migration or digitalisation project without a dedicated BA
- ✓Your business and IT teams are struggling to align on scope
- ✓You're picking up an ongoing project with no clear visibility on what's already been scoped
- ✓You need to secure a sensitive delivery (GDPR, tax, personal data)
- ✓You're looking for one point of contact who takes it from scoping through to acceptance testing, with minimal hand-holding
It's probably not yet if…
- ✕You're looking for someone to write the code directly
- ✕The project doesn't yet have a business sponsor
- ✕You're looking for an engagement of just a few days
